upvote downvoteLooks like Granholm is jumping on the bandwagon to try and make this happen, she met with Larry and asked him to bring their fiber to Michigan. Hopefully Lansing wins over Ann Arbor. Go Green!

upvote downvoteAwesome! Thanks for posting this. Everyone that has any interest in seeing the Lansing area continue to grow needs to go and nominate our town for this program.
Since Larry Page is an East Lansing native, we could have a chance, but we're going to have to compete with the home of his alma mater (that, of course, being Ann Arbor...)

upvote downvoteI saw this program posted on google awhile ago and was hoping that our area would apply for this. I think it has the potential to seriously transform the area, similar to how canals and railroads transformed economies years ago.
