Dying to try the Bike-Row-Brew. Optimistically, highlighting this kind of stuff can help draw a larger audience, which can draw more of it to the area ... I hope Over the Edge comes back. Wanted to join in, but gotta be out of state that day.

That sounds like an insane amount of fun, actually. I'd have to really whip myself into shape if I was going to attempt any of this stuff I think!

Very cool. We may landlocked without convenient access to the Great Lakes, but the Lansing area has outstanding outdoor offerings. Hopefully this new endeavor will shine a spotlight on yet another reason to get out and about in Greater Lansing.

I looked into this company a little bit and they sound awesome. They have about 5 different locations around the state. It looks like they are sponsoring one of five trebuchets (old fashioned catapults) in a competition out at MSU in May.

Interesting, but I wonder how much 'adventure travel' there really is in the Lansing area - we don't really have steep mountains or anything particularly scenic (given other not-so-far off destination) to make people choose Lansing as a destination.

I can, however, see how highlighting this kind of stuff could help morale in the area.
